China President Says Country has Entered New Era to Take Centre Stage in The World

XI JINPING said China’s rapid progress under socialism shows there is a new choice for other countries.
XI made the declaration at the opening of the biggest gathering of the Communist Party in Beijing, which is holding under tight security.
He addressed more than two thousand delegates for more than three hour at the closed-door summit.
The Socialist Party summit, which takes place once every five years, is to determine who rules China and the country’s direction for the next term.
The party is also expected to unveil the new members of China’s top decision-making body, the Politburo Standing Committee, who will steer the country.
