Some Ex Agitators are before a Federal High Court in Abuja, to challenge alleged short-changing in the payment of the monthly stipends by the Federal Government Amnesty Office.
The matter which was supposed to come up for hearing could not go on following the absence of the presiding Judge Justice A. Muhammad who through the clerk of the court asked the parties to return on the 7th of December, 2020.
Counsel to the Ex-Niger Delta Agitators S.A Adokwu who confirmed the Development to our correspondent said his client want the Federal High Court Abuja to order the Federal Government Amnesty and Special Adviser to the President on Amnesty Programme to pay the beneficiaries the stipulated sixty-five thousand naira monthly stipend.
