Reports say the refugee camp is being built by the military in Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec, near Plattsburgh, New York.
The facility would provide shelter for up to five hundred asylum seekers who had been sheltered at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.
It is estimated that more than three thousand, three hundred people crossed into Quebec between January and June this year due to fear of President DONALD TRUMP’s tough migrant policy.
