A source who confirmed the situation in Oyigbo said a relative calm has been restored with security operatives taking over the area as some were seen positioned at strategic places while others are on patrol.
The same situation is reported within and around Oil Mill area of Obio-Akpor Local Government.
The Ugwu- Nba One of Igboo Kingdom, Eze Kemakolom Nwanuo who spoke to us from Igboo Etche in Etche Local Government Area said normalcy has been restored in the with the help of youths and security agencies.
Eze Nwanuo said the current situation is unlike what happened last night when some hoodlums who were suspected to have fled from Eleme-Oil Mill area clashed in Igboo Etche.
From Diobu axis, the Chairman of Diobu Vigilante and Chief Security Officer of Eagle Island Ohiakwu Rescue Team, Victor Ohaji said they are working in collaboration with security to ensure that peace is sustained in the area.
