The chairman of Water Producers Association of Nigeria Egberi Mackson who made this known in an interview with Today Fm’s Sandra Kenneth said owners of factories were made to pay illegal tax of over three million naira monthly in the year 2022.
He said only a strong collaboration with the rivers state government will ensure the supply of clean water and total eradication of fake water production factories in the state.
On the aspect of reducing the price of water in the new year, the WAPAN chairman pointed out the cost of production is as result of the price of fuel in the country.
