Operatives of EFCC yesterday, raided GRA in Port Harcourt, where the BDC operators were carrying out their businesses and arrested a good number of them for allegedly being responsible for the increase in the dollar.
But in an interview with Today FM’S Uchendu Ejiowhor, some Bureau De Change Operators dismissed federal government’s claim, insisting that the government is responsible for the increase.
The aggrieved BDC Operators while disclosing that those arrested by EFCC are not really the business owners but agents, advised the government to reconsider its economic policies and stop accusing innocent individuals.
