The formal apology to Nigerian was rendered by the Deputy National Chairman of the APC, Chief SEGUN ONI.
Our correspondent JAMES IGAH quoted Chief ONI, suggesting that the APC leadership admitted lapses in handling the intra-party dispute involving former Chairman of the House Appropriation Committee, ABDULMUMINI JIBRIN and the Speaker, YAKUBU DOGARA.
Chief SEGUN ONI was speaking during a session on proposed amendments to the Electoral Act which was organised by the Progressive Governors Forum in Abuja.
On his part; Kastina State Governor, AMINU BELLO MASARI who was the Co-Chairman of the legislative programme, charged the APC National Working Committee led by Chief JOHN ODIGIE OYEGUN to be more proactive in resolving crises involving party members before they escalate.
