Britain declares end of ISIS.

You will recall that Mosul, which Iraq’s second largest city, is where ISIS began its campaign of violence in 2014, and went on to declare a caliphate.

But United Kingdom’s Defence Secretary, Sir MICHAEL FALLON declared that the end has come for IS, just as he confirmed that the Royal Air Force had hit more than seven hundred targets in support of the liberation of Mosul by Iraqi forces.

Sir MICHAEL said IS was also losing ground in its Syrian stronghold of Raqqa, where he said UK forces have also hit six-nine targets in support of Syrian Democratic Forces.

The UK official was speaking ahead of a NATO meeting, adding that that additional eighty-five UK troops would be sent to Afghanistan on training duties.
