Idu-Osobele and Biseni communities are laying claim to a portion of land separating the two communities.
However a peace was brokered after a meeting between members of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly and representatives of ONELGA constituencies in the Rivers state House of Assembly.
Speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, member representing ONELGA constituency two, NATHANIEL OWAJI said it was important to make peace between the two communities to avoid a strain relationship between Rivers and Bayelsa states.
OWAJI however appealed to the people Idu-Osobele and Biseni communities to maintain peace while modalities are being finalised to resolve all the issues raised.
