The ban is expected to take effect from the 21st of March 2020.
The affected countries include; United Kingdom, United States, China, Japan, Iran, Switzerland, Norway, France, South Korea, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The federal government also announced the suspension of the implementation of the Visa on Arrival Policy for the affected countries.
The affected countries are those which has more than one thousand confirmed cases of coronavirus.
The announcement was made on the twitter handle the Nigerian Center for Disease Control.
