This is according to a data from the Department of Research and Statistics and confirmed by the NCS’s public relations office.

The service recorded the highest revenue of one hundred and twenty three point six billion naira in July, followed by one hundred and eighteen point six billion naira in May.

The lowest revenue was recorded in February, with eighty six point six billion naira.

According to the data, the Apapa area command has the highest revenue of three hundred and thirteen point five billion naira within the period under review.

Meanwhile; as soon as the Federal Government closed the Nigerian borders, the service recorded one hundred and fifteen point six billion naira in September, with about six point one billion naira more than what was realised in August before the closure.

The revenue was generated from import duty, levy, excise duty and other fees.
