Spokesman of the 27 Task Force Brigade, Lieutenant GEORGE OKUPE has confirmed the incident to newsmen in a text message.
Lieutenant GEORGE OKUPE said the attack was successfully repelled by the troops but failed to put a figure on the number of causalities.
The attack was second since the Nigerian military claimed it has displaced the Boko Haram insurgents at Camp Zero, said to be the Boko Haram last stronghold.
