The commissioner of Police was reported to have ignored the issue of shooting at pipeline, which led to the death of two youths from Bodo Community to address the issue chieftaincy tussle.
Some of the women who spoke to Today FM’S correspondent after the meeting, expressed dissatisfaction at the outcome, accusing the commissioner of not addressing the issue of the death of those who were killed, before delving into who should be in charge of the affairs of the community.
On his part, a victim and survival of the Bodo-Sugi pipeline shooting expressed displeasure that he was not allowed to speak at the security and peace meeting organized by the commissioner of police especially on the shooting of two youths from bodo community who were keeping watch at the pipeline.
The victim who spoke on the condition of anonymity, insisted that the police chief must address the issues affecting the people, rather than what he chose to speak on.
