The bill to establish the maritime universities was first read in on the floor of the Senate in June this year.
Another bill seeking to establish the National Commission for Sports Administration also passed second reading in the Senate and referred to the Senate ?Committee on Sports and Social Development, which is expected to work on in over the next four weeks.
