Justice TSOHO has also returned the NNAMDI KANU case file to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice IBRAHIM AUTA.
Our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that Justice TSOHO’s decision was based on an application by the defence counsel on allegation of bias by the judge in handling the case.
NNAMDI KANU, through his lawyers, said he no longer had confidence in the court, alleging that the court was acting based on the orders of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
The defence team had threatened to seek the intervention of the International Court of Justice if its relief was not granted by the High Court.
After listening to KANU’s lawyer, Justice TSOHO declared that he has no longer interested in handling the matter and therefore returned it to the Chief Judge for reassignment.
