The temporarily sacked officials are the regional commissioner, a local paramilitary police chief and a customs officer.
Sixteen people were killed and ninety-two others injured in the explosion last week Thursday at the dump site.
The victims were scavenging spoilt wheat and flour that were being destroyed by fire when the blast went off.
