The Labor Party and its Governorship candidate in the petition, are seeking for the nullification of the Governorship election on the grounds of widespread irregularities, violence and voters’ intimidation.
They are also asking the court to conduct a fresh election.
The party, in a statement expressed optimism that the judiciary will acquit itself and ensure that justice is done in the matter.
