Governor Diri who made this known when he appeared on a television programme, added that the state is yet to receive food items from the federal government after he officially informed the president about the situation.
Governor Diri said he had expected the federal government to meet with anticipatory states to be affected by flood to suggest possible ways of managing the situation.
He wondered why a state that contributes a lot to the national treasury will be treated in such a manner by the federal government
Diri further revealed that a flood management committee had been set up to manage the procurement of relief materials.
