An eyewitness who spoke with Today FM, said the native doctor popularly called Doctor Mike Indian was caught burying a three months old baby in his shrine in Edeoha which drew the attention of the villagers.
The eyewitness said the youths destroyed his shrine and found some pictures and charms tied together with chains.
The native doctor was however said to have disappeared on their way to the police station.
The eye witness said the development angered the local vigilante members who allegedly shot at the villagers, killing three of them.
Meanwhile, the house of the Mike Indiana in Eduoha, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers who was accused of burying a three months old baby has been destroyed by youths in the area.
Today FM visited the community yesterday and reports that angry youths in the community set the house ablaze after Indiana who is said to be a native doctor mysteriously disappeared.
The pictures of his alleged victims who were seen tied together with chains and charms have also been displayed in the community.
Some of the youths who spoke to Today Fm accused the man of being responsible for the deaths of some people in the community.
Another youth also confirmed that two people were shot dead by members of the local vigilante group in the community who were chased away by the youths after they had tried to intervene in the matter.
