OPIA JOSHUA, who is a spokesman for Okrika High Chief, said all beneficiaries of the Federal Government Amnesty programme enlisted through ATEKE TOM have been paid five months of their allowances, from January to May this year.

OPIA JOSHUA described some individuals who have been complaining of unpaid stipends under Chief ATEKE TOM as impostors.

The spokesman made the clarification in an interview with our correspondent, UCHENDU EJIOWHOR.

He further alleged that some impersonators identified within the system had caused some difficulties in meeting government obligations to beneficiaries of the amnesty programme.

OPIA JOSHUA also said that the Chief ATEKE TOM camp was now concerned about the enrolment of amnesty beneficiaries for the vocational training.
