Professor Ogunyemi who speaking during a meeting of the union in the University of Port Harcourt said VCs of most universities are to be blamed for the low standard of tertiary institutions in the country.
The ASUU President however advised academic staff to avoid making themselves vulnerable to people whom he called economic vampires threatening that plans are on the way to deal with all the vice Chancellors involved in any form of fraud.
The ASUU president also vowed that the union would not suspend its on-going strike until its demands are met.
