Our correspondent gathered that the arrest of CHIKA-NEED who is popularly known as BISHOP is coming barely one week after he led members of Iceland cult group to embrace the state Amnesty in Ibaa community.
In a statement jointly signed by Ibaa community, the youths criticized the military operatives deployed in the community over what they described as unwarranted arrest of BISHOP.
The statement further explained that it was wrong for the soldiers to go after someone who has genuinely repented and submitted his arms to the state government, adding that such action has created doubts and fear among the repentant cultists.
The youths called on the state government and Amnesty committee to intervene and ensure the immediate release of BISHOP and warned against other arrests in other to sustain the desired peace in the area.
Meanwhile; the Army is yet to respond to the allegation.
