The recovery was made by troops of the 25 Task Force Brigade of Seven Division of the Nigerian Army deployed under Operation LAFIYA DOLE.
The findings were made during clearance operations at Dulsa and Buk in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General SANI USMAN disclosed in a statement that troops neutralized six Boko Haram terrorists as they cleared their hideout at Dulsa.
They also recovered one Light Machine Gun, two Rocket Propelled Grenade Tubes and one Extra Anti-Aircraft Gun Barrel.
At Buk, the army spokesman said soldiers encountered Boko Haram terrorists and neutralized a large number of them, while several others were wounded.
The recovered items at that location include nine AK-47 rifles, three Fabrique Nationale rifles, two Rocket Propelled Grenade Bombs, one Mortar Tube, one Shilka, one Gun truck mounted with Anti-Aircraft Gun and 2 Hilux trucks.
However; three soldiers lost their lives in the operations, five others were wounded, while a Mine-Resistant and Ambush-Protected vehicle belonging to the Brigade was badly damaged.
