Lieutenant General Lagbaja gave the assurance at the closing ceremony of the Second Commanding Officers Workshop, where he said the exercise was targeted at improving operational efficiency and administrative competency of the tactical level commanders.
The Army Chief also stated that the workshop was aimed at equipping the commanding officers with requisite skills and competence, enhance their performance in an increasingly complex security environment which he said has been satisfactorily achieved with the exercise.
Lagbaja while revealing that the philosophy is to transform into a well trained and highly motivated force, urged them not to be deterred by the activities of social media, but always collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed urged the commanding officers to utilize readily available resources and strengthen information and communication technology training in their various unit.
