Arewa Oct 1st declaration may be heading to ICC

The move may have been influenced by

seeming dissatisfaction with by some

stakeholders in the manner the Federal

Government was handling what has been

described as hate speech by the coalition

of Arewa youths who warned Igbos in the

north to relocate before 1st October.

Chief GODDY UWAZURIKE who is a former

president of pan-Igbo think tank group,

Aka Ikenga, gave this indication in a

telephone interview with our

correspondent.

Chief UWAZURIKE criticized the Federal

Government to being lukewarm in handling

those who threatened the Igbos in the

North.

Chief GODDY UWAZURIKE joined other leaders

from the southern parts of Nigeria for a

meeting in Lagos over the weekend where

they resolved to ask the federal

government to take action to check the

threat against the Igbos.
