The candidates, in a media briefing at the state Party secretariat in Port Harcourt, alleged that they have uncovered plots by members of the ruling People’s Democratic Party to upload already announced results at the Collation Centers through Electoral Officers.
Speaking to newsmen on behalf of other National Assembly candidates in the area, the House of Representatives Candidate for Ikwerre-Emohua Federal Constituency, Ezemoye Ezekiel-Amadi, expressed disappointment over the activities of INEC in collaboration with security agents.
The Rivers East National Assembly candidates of the APC comprising the Senatorial Candidate, the House of Representatives Candidates for Etche-Omuma Federal constituency, Ikwerre-Emohua Federal Constituency, Obio-Akpor Federal Constituency, and Port Harcourt City Federal Constituency Two, therefore called on Nigerians to prevail on INEC to cancel the elections and allow the will of the people to prevail.
