Our correspondent Uchendu Ejiowhor who monitored the first day of the exercise reports that old and intending members of the APC were seen at various units and wards at the different local government areas for the exercise.
In Gokana Local Government Area, the immediate past National Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC, Victor Giadom who spoke to newsmen after revalidating his membership expressed hope that the exercise will help in repositioning the party.
In Emohua Local Government Area, Senator Andrew Uchendu and former Local Government Council Chairman, Chief Allan Nma were also seen revalidating their memberships.
In Omuma, the leader of APC in the area, Jude Ubanni who spoke after revalidating his membership of the party said the move is aimed at showcasing to the world that APC has all it takes to take over the Government House of state in 2023.
Other party members including the CTC Chairman of APC in the area, Darlington Nwauju encouraged members to participate in the exercise.
Our correspondent reports that the Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC in Rivers State, Isaac Abbot-Ogbobula was also in his ward at Ihuaba in Ahoada East Local government to revalidate his membership.
