Stakeholders who spoke at the second annual Akintola Williams Foundation lecture in Lagos agreed that restructuring was the only viable option for Nigeria to make progress and avoid disintegration.
Former Commonwealth Secretary General, Chief EMEKA ANYAOKU and former United Nations Under-Secretary-General, Professor IBRAHIM GAMBARI, emphasized the need for restructuring to address the prevailing ethnic agitations across the country.
Chief ANYAOKU, Professor GAMBARI and other stakeholders maintained that Nigeria must restructure its governance architecture in conformity with true federalism, as envisaged by the founding fathers.
