Justice ONNOGHEN made the clarification against the backdrop of the series of losses suffered by the government in the prosecution of some high profile corruption cases, including those involving some judges.
Justice ONNOGHEN said under the constitution, the cases which have been lost can be appealed against up to the Supreme Court.
You would recall that different High Courts recently dismissed a corruption case against Justice ADEMOLA, as well as ordered the unfreezing of the bank accounts of former First Lady, PATIENCE JONATHAN and Chief MIKE OZEKHOME.
