The groups include the Actors Guild of Nigeria, the National Association of Nigerian Students, and the Association of Local Government of Nigeria.
Together, the groups have put together a campaign tagged “Voice of Change Nigeria”, which would be taken across the thirty-six states of the federation.
One of the facilitators of the campaign and President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, EMEKA IKE, gave this indication when he led a delegation for a courtesy visit to the Inspector General of Police, IBRAHIM IDRIS.
Addressing the group in his office at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, IGP IDRIS commended them for the initiative, stressing that the fight against corruption demands all hands on deck.
He assured that all the Commissioners of Police in charge of State Commands would be directed to provide adequate security for the group during their campaign.
