Chairman of the committee, General Abdusalami Abubakar, who came up with this on Tuesday, said the peace accord has become imperative considering the orgy of violence witnessed in Anambra State in recent time.
He urged various stakeholders in the state to eschew violence and work toward peaceful Anambra before, during and after the election.
The committee also reiterated that as an apolitical body, the peace, unity and tranquility of the country is of paramount importance which cannot be over emphasised.
