Amnesty International accuse Philippines government of crimes against humanity.

The international rights group alleged that President RODRIGO DUTERTE authorized the killing of thousands of suspected drug offenders as part of his war against drug trafficking.

In a report of its investigation into the drug war, Amnesty International also outlined other widespread police crimes, aside from extrajudicial killings that mainly targeted the poor.

It accused the Filipino police of killing defenceless people, fabricating evidence, paying assassins to murder drug addicts and stealing from those they killed and their relatives.
