SHERIFF’s position was made by his spokesman, INUA BWALA following allegations by the Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice of Borno State, KAKA LAWAN.
INUA BWALA told our correspondent in an interview that the Federal Government and the security agencies do not have anything on SHERIFF.
The Borno State Attorney-General had in an interview with our correspondent, said the Boko Haram was created through the excesses of former Governor ALI MODU SHERIFF.
KAKA LAWAN claims that impunity and bad governance by the Sheriff Administration was what foisted the Boko Haram guerrilla warfare on the North-East geopolitical zone.
The Borno State Attorney-General commended the Nigerian military and the local vigilante for their continuous efforts in fighting the insurgents.
He said the Boko Haram has been weakened and can no longer occupy any local government in Borno State.
