Alakahia community of Rivers state regins peace, Monarch calls residents to return

Eze OGBONDA-DODOO who spoke at an event to mark his one year of coronation said the call follows the return of peace in the area which he said came with the support of the local vigilante, OSPAC.

The Alakahia Monarch expressed regrets that series of cult clash and controversies that rocked the area affected the community negatively but called on anyone who is aggrieved to shun their differences and join hands to make the community grate again.

Eze OGBONDA-DODOO promised to work with other community stakeholders and relevant government agencies to sustain the peace and to bring development in the area.

On their parts, the Chairman of Committee Development Committee, SAMUEL ANELECHI and his secretary, LEONARD ENYI while speaking on the current security and developmental situation in Alakahia pledged to work for the sustainability of the peace and development of the community.

Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the Commander General of Akpor OSPAC, AZUBUIKE AMADI who dismissed reports that OSPAC was sent to witch hunt some people said they are there to sanitize the communities while calling on the people to join hands to sustain the peace and security in the community.
