A report says the six-minute film shows a man in a Ugandan military uniform asking Uganda’s President YOWERI MUSEVENI to help secure his release.
The man in the video said he was captured in an al-Shabab attack on an African Union base in the Somali town of Janale, in which between forty to fifty Ugandan troops were killed.
The head of the Ugandan army told reporters that everything was being done to secure the release of a captured soldier.
