The minister who spoke on a National Television was responding to the allegations levelled against him by the former MD of the commission.
He said NUNIEH was removed from office because of insubordination and not possessing the requisite certificate to hold such position.
The Minister also denied claims by members of the National Assembly that about N40bn was missing from the commission.
