The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated women, particularly Nigerian women, on this year’s International Women’s Day.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, the Senate President praised Nigerian women for the sacrifices they make for their families and for their role in building society.
Akpabio described himself as a beneficiary of the strength and support of women, noting that mothers remain the greatest gift from God to humanity.
He commended women for their resilience and contributions to national development, urging continued support for efforts aimed at empowering women across the country.
