This was disclosed in a statement signed by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, FESTUS OKOYE.
According to the statement, critical facilities were however not affected in the course of the attack.
Overall, this is the seventh attack on INEC facilities in five states of the Federation in the last four months.
The statement explained that the attack affected the Conference Room where office furniture and fittings were destroyed.
The commission in the statement however expressed concern over the consequences of what appears to be a systematic attack on its facilities across the country on the conduct of elections in particular and electoral activities in general.
