Onuachu of Belgian side Genk was on the standby in a list released by Super Eagles coach Gernot Roh last week.

Onuachu is currently the top scorer in the Belgian league with 10 goals but has not really found his scoring boot for Nigeria though he scored under one minute on his debut against Egypt in Asaba, Delta State in a friendly match before the 2019 AFCON.
The Super Eagles will take on the Lone Stars of Sierra Leone on Friday 13 November at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City while the reverse fixture takes place four days later in Freetown.
Nigeria had won the first two fixtures in the group against Benin Republic and Lesotho and sit pretty on top with six points.
