In a meeting with the executive members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists inOndo State, General Adamu appealed to the media in the country to adopt a fair, objective, and factual approach when covering military operations.
While expressing his concerns, Adamu also emphasized that negative media coverage has a demoralizing impact on military personnel.
He urged journalists to prioritize accuracy in their reports without compromising national security.
Recognizing the crucial role of journalism as a fact-checking body, the commander called for support and encouragement from Nigerians.
