ADC Vows to Oust Tinubu Administration, Says Lack of Governors Not a Setback

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), backed by a coalition of political groups, has declared its readiness to unseat President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after a meeting of the party’s National Political Consultative Group (North) in Abuja, ADC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi said the party’s lack of serving governors does not diminish its political strength or determination.

Abdullahi explained that sitting governors have yet to formally align with the ADC due to fears of political intimidation from the Tinubu administration. He noted that despite this, the party remains formidable and is galvanizing nationwide support.

He stated that widespread public dissatisfaction with the current administration would fuel the ADC’s momentum, stressing that Nigerians are increasingly disillusioned with the government’s performance.

The ADC further expressed confidence in its ability to match the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in every aspect of the electoral contest. Abdullahi asserted that it would be difficult for the APC to manipulate the 2027 polls, warning that the party is prepared to resist any attempts at election rigging.
