The African Democratic Congress has declared its readiness to win elections in 2027, stating that it is not in the race merely to participate but to emerge victorious.
The newly elected Chairman of the party in Rivers State, Chukwudi Dimkpa, made this known while speaking on the party’s plans and strategies ahead of the elections.
He said the ADC’s focus on the welfare of ordinary citizens and its commitment to addressing economic hardship would serve as its major selling point to the electorate.
Dimkpa further criticized the current administration, stating that many Nigerians are facing hardship and are in need of credible alternatives. He expressed confidence that the ADC can provide a viable platform for change.
The party chairman also confirmed that a member representing Port Harcourt Constituency One in the House of Representatives has joined the ADC, adding that more political figures and supporters are expected to defect to the party in the coming months.
