The Minister of State for Aviation, HADI SIRIKA, had set a target of 19th April for the completion of the project.
However; the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, SALEH DUNOMA, said the airport was now ready for inspection, which is two days earlier than the scheduled completion date.
DUNOMA said the remaining two days would be left to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority for preliminary inspection to certify that the airport was up to standard.
