A suspected armed robber identified as twenty-eight-year-old EMEKA EZE has been arrested in connection with a failed robbery attack on a petrol filling station by Etohu end of the East-West Road, in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State.The spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, AHMAD MUHAMMAD confirmed the arrest of the suspect by a police mobile patrol team that responded to a distress call and engaged the robbery gang in a shootout around 3.30PM yesterday.The Police Public Relations Officer also confirmed that two of the hoodlums were shot dead on the spot, while items recovered from them include an AK-47 rifle and twenty rounds of live ammunition.
