A State High Court in Port Harcourt has granted an order restrained security agencies from arresting the Caretaker Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government council, SAMUEL NWONOSIKE.The Court presided over by Justice GEORGE OMEREJI also restrained security operatives from arresting twenty-eight members of the PDP in Ikwerre Local Government Area.Justice OMEREJI granted the order based on an application filed on behalf of NWONOSIKE and the other PDP members, seeking the protection of their fundamental human rights. Our correspondent reports that security agencies joined in the matter are the Rivers State Police Command and the Department of State Security Service.
