A Port Harcourt High Court has admitted the statement made by JOSHUA EDE; who is the sixth accused person in the prolonged Aluu-Four murder trial.
Justice LETAN NYORDEE ruled that the facts, evidence and attestation form signed by JOSHUA EDE with the police prove that the statement was not made under duress as claimed by the accused person.Correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that the Police Prosecuting Witness, RAPHAEL EZECHI was absent in court when hearing resumed today.Justice NYORDEE expressed displeasure about the absence and advised all parties to keep to the adjourned dates, as hearing is expected to continue on 10th and 31st of March.The Aluu Four saga involved the lynching of four male students of the University of Port Harcourt at Omokri Aluu community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
