A new helmsman has assumed responsibility in the office of the Force Public Relations Officer.

DON AWUNAH, who is a Deputy Commissioner of Police, was appointed by the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IBRAHIM IDRIS, to replace ACP OLABISI KOLAWOLE.

Before now, DON AWUNAH was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Homicide Section of Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Abuja.

Similarly; the Rivers State Police Command now has a new spokesman in the person of OMONI NNAMDI who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police.

DSP NNAMDI takes over from DSP AHMAD MUHAMMAD who has been transferred to the Adamawa State Police Command.

DSP MUHAMMAD confirmed his handover to DSP NNAMDI as the new Police Public Relations Officer in a statement obtained by our correspondent.
