A grenade explosion has killed at least two people at a stadium in Madagascar’s capital.

Officials said the bomb targeted the national day celebrations in Antananarivo, just after a military parade at the city stadium.

General ANTHONY RAKOTOARISON told AFP news agency that about eighty people were wounded in the blast at a stadium.

President HERY RAJAONARIMAMPIANINA has described the incident as a terrorist act, and blamed it on political divergences.
