A former Chairman of Ahoada-East Local Government in Rivers State, CASSIDY IKEGBIDI, has approached the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, seeking an order to protect himself against arrest by the Police.

 

A former Chairman of Ahoada-East Local Government in Rivers State, CASSIDY IKEGBIDI, has approached the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, seeking an order to protect himself against arrest by the Police.The APC chieftain alleged that he has been facing threats of arrest over what he described as unjustifiable reasons, and wants the Court to issue an order restraining the State Commissioner of Police, MUSA KIMO, as well as his officers and subordinates from arresting him. IKEGBIDI made the application in a bid to enforce his fundamental human rights to unhindered freedom of movement and liberty.
