A ceasefire between Syria’s government and rebel groups in that country is just weeks away. The U.S Secretary of State JOHN KERRY made this known when he visited Paris to show solidarity with France after last week’s attacks. KERRY said the proposed ceasefire which was agreed upon in Vienna, would help to concentrate attention of fighting the Islamic State militant group. Saudi Arabia is to host a meeting of Syrian opposition figures by next month to agree on a delegation to send for talks with representatives of President BASHAR ASSAD.
